11 weeks and kicking....literally
Of the few things that Braeden loves, one of them is being naked....sometimes when he is fussy, all we have to do it take his clothes off and he starts giggling like Hugh Hefner at the Playboy mansion. We have some work to do.
Finally, Braeden has started to respond to us with smiles - which is great because he finds all of my material funny....or at least appears to.
This homeless guy stopped by the condo the other day, so we gave him some furniture and allowed him to hold the baby for a bit. Things quickly deteriorated when he tried to play the where's your dingdong game with my son.

Florida and Easter
Braeden and Talia took a little trip to Florida while I was busy with work - as you can see Braeden LOVED the 1970's bedspread in the condo. In the bottom picture, we were both left wondering which member of our family has descended from the Sasquatch - the feet on this kid are ridiculous.
Mommy had this great idea that Braeden would wear this goofy little Easter Bunny hat to Easter brunch - you would have thought we dropped hot coals on his chest from the reaction.
So..............we waited until he fell asleep to put it on.
Still half asleep, we loaded up on pictures before he threw a hissy fit about the hat.

How Much?
I asked Braeden how much he loves his mommy in the picture above - this was his response......what you will not see is him giving me the finger when I asked him what he thought of the Bears resigning Grossman.
Here is a picture of me explaining to our little nugget that the cost of college is sky rocketing, and that I would need him to make some sort of contribution to the cause. A couple minutes later, his contribution was delivered.....

Under the Lamp
So two days after Braeden was born - we thought we were going home for good......not so. Tal and I had to bring him back for a 24 hour stint under the UV lamp due to his bilirubin levels. Yeah, I don't quite understand what that means - but I'm happy to say, everything is perfect now and he was given a clean bill of health on Saturday.
Unfortunately for us, his diapers are not so clean - for those of you who hear other people say their child's poop does not stink.....I'm here to tell you it most certainly does. Thanks to the baby Jesus that Talia seems to be a pro at changing diapers, because if it was up to me - I'd take him outside and let him handle business away from where I eat....I kid, I kid...I don't need anyone calling DCFS on me.
